Cadillac’s ad agency forgot about the actual Cadillacs that Cadillac sells in Cadillac’s new commercial. In Detroit Free Press coverage of the commercial, it quotes spokesman David Caldwell as saying "This is the start of a redefining of Cadillacs core values". Intriguing approach.

If you ask around, the one Cadillac most would classify as desirable is the Escalade. But do the numbers support this notion? Just how much does Cadillac rely on the Escalade for U.S. volume? Surprise! GCBCs founder has the numbers and more. "Without Escalade, Cadillac was down 13% to 8914 January sales. With Escalade, Cadillac was up 3% to 11,680 January sales."
RECALL
Status unchanged. There hasn’t been a car recall since February 4th, when GM announced a “sudden loss of electric power steering” recall on old Malibus and G6s.
